Homework On his return from Indonesia Obama

After the visit of President of the United States (U.S.), Barack Obama to Indonesia, U.S. Ambassador to Indonesia Scot Marciel said a lot of homework to be completed.

Both countries, said Marciel, has realized the potential that can be developed, for example in terms of business, trade, and other global issues such as working together to tackle climate change.


In his speech at the State Palace on Wednesday, Obama said that U.S. trading partners do not want to be number three in Indonesia, but number one. As an illustration, last year between Indonesia-US trade accounting for only about 20 billion U.S. dollars, while trade with Malaysia reached 35 billion U.S. dollars.
