Leslie Nielsen is the son of a police officer. Nielsen is also married to: Monica Boyer, 1950-1955; Sandy Ullman, 1958-1974; and Oliver Brooks, 1981-85. Nielsen and his second wife have two daughters, Thea and Maura.

Leslie William Nelsen (born in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, February 11, 1926 - died in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States, 28 November 2010 at age 84 years) is a Canadian comedian and actor who won an Emmy Award nomination. He was born in Regina, Saskatchewan. He is a career in the film world since 1956. Nielsen appeared in more than 100 films and 1,500 television programs in his career, played more than 220 characters.
